Sick Guided Radar Level Sensors

Sick Guided Radar Level Sensors

Sick provide a range of level sensors which use guided radar technology for an accurate level measurement solution.

A low-energy, electromagnetic impulse is generated in the electronics of the level sensor and is coupled int the probe.

When this impulse reaches the fluid on the surface to be measured, part of the impulse is reflected there and runs along the probe back to the measurement electronics.

The measurement electronics are then then able to calculate the fill level from the time difference between the time the impulse is sent out and the time when it is received on.

The Sick guided radar level sensor products include the LFT, LFP Inox and LFP Cubic ranges.
