Thermon KSR-2 heat tracing cable which is designed for ramp heating applications and direct burial in concrete to prevent snow and ice building up and becoming a health and safety concern.

Thermon KSR-2 Heat Tracing Cable

Thermon KSR-2 heat tracing cable is manufactured to withstand the harsh conditions encountered during concrete placement and the heat tracing cable is able to withstand temperatures up 177ºC and can therefore also be used for installation into asphalt.

The self-regulating heat output of the ramp heating cable adjusts in response to the surrounding concrete temperatures.

When the concrete is at or below freezing temperatures, the heat tracing cable will operate at the maximum power output and as the concrete warms-up, the power output decreases. This allows for an energy efficient solution without special or sophisticated controls.

KSR heat tracing cables are also certified for use within ATEX Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas.
