ATEX and IECEx Certified Hazardous Area IBC Heating Jacket

The Inteliheat IBC/Z1 is a specially designed IBC heating jacket certified for use within areas that have potentially explosive gases. The Inteliheat IBC/Z1 is approved for use on IBC containers but can also be used to heat four 205 litre drums and is 950mm in height and 4060-4310mm in length.

The Inteliheat IBC/Z1 is able to provide temperatures of up to 55ºC and does not require transformers as it operates using standard AC supply voltages up to 240V. An insulated IBC lid can be used to assist with heat up times.

There are many sites, especially in the petrochemical, chemical and pharmaceutical industries which require IBC heaters and IBC heating jackets that are certified for use in hazardous area zone 1 and zone 2. Our ATEX certified IBC heaters can be used to heat IBCs and 1000L Totes to reduce the viscosity of oils, resins, surfactants and a variety of chemicals. Our ATEX IBC jackets and can be used safely in hazardous area zones 1 and zone 2.
