Flexim’s G601 CA Energy is a variation of the G601 gas flow meter designed to be used to measure the flow of compressed air and thermal energy. The G601 CA Energy flow meter is ideal for detecting the location of leaks across pressurized air infrastructures.

The Fluxus G601 CA Energy can measure pipes with an inner diameter from DN 50 to DN 300 and from 5 bar inner pressure upwards, however for plastic pipes, measurement can be taken at atmospheric pressure and below.

Additionally the G601 CA Energy can be used for the quantification of energy balances at heating or cooling plants and looking for lost BTU’s.

Description Portable measuring device for non-intrusive flow measurement of gases (industrial gases, compressed air, etc), liquids and thermal energy flow rate (clamp-on flow measurement according to the transit time difference method, temperature measurement using clamp-on or inline temperature sensors.)

Accuracy

Gas flow measurement:

 

+/-0.5% of reading +/- 0.01 m/s with field calibration (if reference uncertainty better than < 0.2%)

 

+/-1 to 3% of reading +/- 0.01m/s without field calibration (depending on application)

 

For the flow measurement of gases/compressed air at metal pipes a minimum pressurisation level of 5 bar is necessary. For plastice pipes no minimum level is required.

 

Liquid flow measurement:

Under reference conditions and with v > 0.15m/s

 

+/-0.5% of reading +/- 0.01 m/s with field calibration (if reference uncertainity better than < 0.2%)

 

+/-1 to 1.2% of reading +/- 0.01 m/s with 7 points wet flow calibration
