Industrial Convection Heater for use within Hazardous Area Applications - ATEX II 2 G - EEx d II C T1 to T6 certified for floor mounting
The Chromalox RIA2 convection heater is designed for use within Zone 1 or Zone 2 ATEX certified hazardous areas and is constructed of 304 stainless steel heating elements with aluminium fins within a painted steel casing.
The RIA2 has a painted steel terminal enclosure rated IP65 and can be provided with power outputs from 250W to 6200W (230V 1 Phase and 400V 3 Phase depending on temperature class and length) and is floor mounted as standard. An optional wall mounting kit is also available.
The RIA2 convection heater can be provided for temperature classes from T1 to T6 and lengths from 320mm to 2128mm and is suitable for a maximum ambient temperature of 40ºC. The heater is not provided with thermostatic control - please see the RIA2T or RIA2TD variations for thermostatic control options.
