Industrial Water Immersion Heater Suitable for Hazardous Area Applications - ATEX II 2 G Ex de II C T1 to T6 Certified
The Chromalox FPFR water immersion heater is designed for use within Zone 1 & Zone 2 hazardous area applications and is constructed with a stood off painted cast iron terminal enclosure, stainless steel sheathed elements in a stainless steel pocket and a 2.5" 150lb ANSI carbon steel flange available.
FPFR water immersion heaters have a watt density of 3.9W per cm² and withdrawable heating elements which allow for elements to be replaced with minimum down time and no need to drain down the system.
The ATEX hazardous area water immersion heater has a built in pocket for an optional sensor, thermostat or cutout and is suitable for ambient temperatures from -50ºC to +40ºC (or +60ºC with a longer stand off).
