Liquid Leak Sensor for Pipe In Pipe Systems and double contained tanks

Andel's DP01 Pipe in Pipe sensor has been developed along with Durapipe, one of the world's largest double containment pipework manufacturers to allow leak monitoring within pipe in pipe systems, double containment tanks and other projects either as a stand-alone leak detection system or as a part of a Floodline Leak Detection system.

The DP01 liquid sensor can be used either individually or in multiples within a leak detection system.

The DP01 sensor uses infra-red to monitor for any liquid which touches the sensor dome. In the event of a leak being detected, or the sensor is disconnected the relay within the local control unit will switch off which the monitoring system or Floodline control panel will be notified of.

The sensor head is encapsulated and supplied in either a ½” or 1” BSP male threaded socket for fitting into the outer pipe at the lowest point or within a specially fitted ‘catchpot’. The sensor is then connected to the local control box. Both the sensor and the control box are rated IP65.
