T&D are able to provide drum heating jackets and base drum heaters which operate at a low voltage, to SELV regulations, to ensure operator safety under all circumstances, including the harshest environments.
T&D's low voltage drum heating jackets also utilise carbon polymer heating technology which provides completely uniform heating across the whole surface area with no hot or cold spots.
Carbon polymer technology is designed to fit around almost any shape and provides precise, even, controlled temperature, with high thermal transfer characteristics allowing for a faster warm up time of the drum contents than other methods of drum heating jackets.
The carbon polymer drum heating jackets are also provided with integrated thermal insulation to ensure efficient performance.
Heating drums reduces the product viscosity, improving flow and reducing decant time. Yield can be significantly improved with virtually no product being left behind reducing costs.
Low voltage drum heating jackets and base drum heaters use only a small amount of energy in comparison to other heating jackets providing the lowest running costs and intrinsic safety.
Low voltage drum heating jackets are available in three standard ranges suitable for, 50, 100 and 200 litre drums. Custom size jackets can also be provided to suit specific applications and container dimensions, contact for further information and a quotation.
