Level Measurement Technologies

Guided Wave Radar

A microwave pulse is sent and received, bouncing back off the media. The time difference between sending and receiving the pulse is used to derive the liquid level.

Non Contacting Radar

A microwave pulse is sent into the tank and reflects back off the media surface. The time or frequency difference is used to calculate the tank level.

Ultrasonic

An ultrasonic pulse is sent into the tank and reflects back off the media surface. The time or frequency difference is used to calculate the tank level.

Differential Pressure

The pressure level of a liquids mass along with the density can be used to calculate the liquid level.

Vibrating Fork

Level switches utilize a piezoelectric-driven tuning fork that exhibits a large change in resonant frequency when immersed into a liquid or bulk solid process.

Float Switch

When a liquid rises to the level of the float, a switch is activated creating an alarm.
