T&D UK working with EXHEAT® have the combined knowledge and expertise to design and manufacture electric process heating and immersion heaters suitable for installation within the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical industries.

 

This includes hazardous area immersion heaters with ATEX certification for electrical process heating of liquids and gases.

 

Typical Flameproof Immersion Heater Applications : Pre-heating oil and water, processing equipment, cleaning and rinsing tanks, heat transfer systems, boiler equipment and frost protection.

 

Flameproof Immersion Heaters & Process Heaters

The RFA-c series of flameproof removable core immersion heaters provide a hazardous area electrical heating solution for oil and similar applications where low heat density is required. The immersion heater element can be withdrawn for inspection without system drain down. The standard hazardous area flameproof immersion heater consists of a single element core fitted into a mounting flange.

The FP series of flameproof immersion heaters offer a hazardous area electrical heating solution for process tanks, pressure vessels and similar plant. The standrad flameproof immersion heater consists of a number of rod elements fitted into a mounting flange. The immersion heater can be provided with temperature control by contactor or thyristor. FP flameproof immersion heaters are ATEX certifed for hazardous area electrical applications in the oil, gas and petrochemical industry.

FP Rod Type Immersion Heaters

The FP-C series of flameproof core immersion heaters offer a hazardous area heating solution for oil and similar applications where a low heat density is required. The special element arrangement of the flameproof hazardous area immersion heater allows the element cores to be withdrawn for inspection without system drain down. The standard flameproof immersion heater consists of a number of element cores fitted into a mounting flange.

The RFA series of flameproof rod-type immersion heaters are suitable for installation in process tanks, safety showers, engine sumps, pressure vessels and similar plant. Flameproof immersion heaters are suitable for installation in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas. Flameproof immersion heaters are compatible with all process liquids or gases which are non-corrosive to the materials of construction.
